Ingredients
- 200 grams paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts, soaked in warm water
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon Shahi Paneer Masala (e.g., Pratham Spices Shahi Paneer Masala)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
- Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- In a blender, grind the soaked cashew nuts into a smooth paste.
- Add the cashew paste to the pan and mix well.
- Add Shahi Paneer Masala and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
- Add cream and mix well. Cook for another minute.
- Add paneer cubes and gently mix them with the gravy.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing 11. the flavors to blend together.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
